What “The Law” Looks Like According to Stock Photo Websites

A while back I came across this post that showed what hackers look like; or at least what they look like according to stock photography websites.

So with lawyer jokes being fair game this month, I decided to start sleuthing out “the faces of the law” in a similar fashion.  The results were very enlightening… I mean, where else could you find a happy legal team like this:

Because that is the goal, right? You wouldn’t want to end up being a sad lawyer (disappointed with a recent manicure):

Let’s face it: Lawyers work hard!  Sometimes reading books together:

Or collaborating on documents:

And be it a messy divorce:

Where you need to fix things with scissors:

Or you have a client who’s been injured (God forbid):

You’re going to require your best legal research skills (with a magnifying glass?)

Just in case you end up in front of an angry Judge!!

Or worse!!!! A judge from Harry Potter:

Just don’t lose your faith.  As a lawyer, we know you can be very persuasive.

And in an instant, your client could go from this:

To this:

All because of your hard work!

But do be careful of malpractice issues.  The lawyer above didn’t — BUT RELAX. IT’S OK! Turns out his client was also his lawyer, and well, look at that: they both got off!

So cheer up will ya?!?

With the help of a few stock photos, you can show the world how you celebrate and cherish victory!

I admit I have not been on this blog in a long time it was joy to find it again. It is this important topic and ignored by so many even professionals ! I thank you for leaving people more aware of these issues. Just great stuff per usual !

Ha. It makes you wonder just who thought any of these pictures were a good idea...and who seriously uses them!

Good one Steve! I wonder if the sites where you got those images will make a stink about your using them without actually purchasing licensed versions (not that I’m saying they’d have any legit basis to do so).

NjAtty Point well taken. Partly why I pulled their public facing watermarked versions. Someone might be attracted and want to find out how to purchase. One man's garbage is another man's treasure... :)

Joking aside, there are "good" stock photos as well as bad ones. I'm not anti stock photography. This was simply intended to fit the theme; and point out that being extremely selective is a wise approach.
