Missing App: The App that Tells Me Which App to Use for What

Today’s Missing App came via email from Fred Kruck:
The app I need is the one that tells me which app I’m supposed to use for what. I have clips in Evernote, and I have docs in Dropbox but some stuff is in Readability – but did i put something in iBooks?
And then my typed notes are in Notes – or maybe Outlook, or Notes HD; and my handwritten notes are in Noteshelf – or was it the Paperport app – no, wait – OneNote or maybe Notability.
And I forgot about Springpad…
Genius.
Think of all the location apps that are available. They’re all related to your physical location in some fashion, taking advantage of GPS and other data to help you find your way, or alert you to a promotion going on at the Starbucks on the corner or even find your car.
No location app, though, tells you the location of your files, documents or general stuff.
If there’s an app to find your car, why isn’t there an app to help find what you put where?
Thanks Fred! Great missing app.
